How Can I Retract a Match?
While matches made through the Find Shippers website are binding, we realize that situations do arise which may delay or cancel deliveries. When a dispute arises after a match is made, drivers and shippers should communicate with each other to try and work out a mutually agreeable solution. Often an agreeable solution can be reached that keeps both parties happy. After exhausting all reasonable efforts to work out a solution with shippers to complete a delivery, drivers may formally initiate a “Match Retraction” and, in certain circumstances that must be verified by Find Shippers, receive a partial or full refund of their match fee.

If the cause of the Match Retraction is determined to be primarily the fault of the shipper (for example, the shipper is not at the scheduled pick-up location, the shipper uses another method of delivery for their shipment before the agreed upon pick-up date, or the shipment is significantly larger than disclosed and thus does not fit in the driver's vehicle) then the driver will receive a full refund. If the Match Retraction is determined to be primarily the fault of the driver (for example, if the driver cancels or materially delays their scheduled pick-up time or does not have room in their vehicle for a properly described shipment) the driver will not receive a refund.

If cause of the Match Retraction is determined to be partially the fault of the shipper and partially the fault of the driver, or if fault cannot be reasonably ascertained, then the driver will receive a partial refund equal to one-half of the match fee.

Any refunds will be given at the sole discretion of Find Shippers after verifying each member’s claims. Any attempt to deceive or manipluate Find Shippers or its employees during the verification process will result in a finding of fault and an indefinite suspension or termination of your Find Shippers account. All decisions regarding refunds are final.

The driver may request a Match Retraction and match fee refund by sending the information requested below to dispute@findshippers.com

IMPORTANT: In your email to Find Shippers, you must include your:
  1. username
  2. the shipper’s username
  3. the shipment title
  4. final accepted bid price
  5. a detailed description of the situation and the communication between all parties.
